About Drool & The Gang

Hi. I’m Simon.

And this is Mona.

I started Drool & The Gang because I wanted to build the sort of dog service I’d actually want to use myself.

Good walks. Small, sensible groups. Dogs treated as individuals. And someone at the other end of the lead who understands a bit more than simply how to hold onto it.

I have a Level 4 Diploma in Canine Welfare, Training and Development, which shapes the way I approach everything from group matching and exercise to confidence, recall, lead skills and everyday training.

Dogs aren’t all the same.

Mona has taught me plenty about that.

Living with and training my own reactive dog has given me first-hand experience of what life with a nervous or reactive dog can actually look like — and how much difference calm, thoughtful handling can make.

Some dogs love being part of a gang. Some need a little more space. Some want to run. Some would happily spend twenty minutes investigating the same hedge.

Drool works with the dog in front of us.

That might mean finding them the right little gang, taking them out one-to-one, helping them practise something they’re struggling with, or simply letting them have a really bloody good sniff.

More Than Just a Walk.

A good walk is a chance to explore, build confidence, practise useful skills, burn some energy, use their nose and — importantly — just be a dog.

GOOD WALKS. PROPER DOG KNOWLEDGE.
